Nick wrote on Instagram, “Explaining Maha Kumbha Mela using a sand model I made on the beach in Goa. Please share this reel with anyone who is coming or interested.”
In the video, Nick has depicted ‘Samudra Manthan’ in his presentation using sand. Samudra Manthan is one of the most remarkable events described in the Hindu Purana. He has even shown how the holy river Ganga and Yamuna come together to create ‘Sangam.’ As the video progresses, Nick can be seen explaining the creation of Triveni Sangam.
He further wrote, “I’ve been researching Prayagraj and Kumbha Mela for weeks – reading the Vishnu Purana, Matsya Purana (and Prayagraj Tirtha), Mahabharata and Ramayana and many academic papers and books. Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned in the lead up to Makar Sankranti when I shall reach Prayagraj itself.
