In the now-viral clip, a 93-year-old man walks into a jewelry store with his wife to buy a mangalsutra for her. Meanwhile, the sweet gesture and kindness of the local jeweller have stunned the social media users.
According to reports, the incident took place at Gopika Jewellers, where the man entered the shop dressed in a white dhoti-kurta and cap with his wife. The shop owner mistook them for somebody seeking help, but was moved when the man expressed his wish to buy jewelry for his wife. They initially selected a necklace and a mangalsutra.

Shortly after, the elderly man offered the shop owner Rs 1,120 in cash. However, the jeweller was so touched by their devotion towards each other and pure intent that he took just Rs 20. It is said that the two live on their own and travel together after their eldest son passed away. After the video went viral, netizens couldn’t help but adore the couple’s unwavering love for each other.
