Uttar Pradesh: A video of a history teacher from Gorakhpur is going viral on the internet, where he can be seen firing from a pistol and dancing to the Bhojpuri song “Marab Duhle Ke Goli” at a function.

After the video went viral on social media, the authorities opened an investigation and began looking for the accused. The accused was released on bail just a few days ago; 26 cases have been registered against the former headmaster-turned-history-sheeter in numerous serious sections, including murder, attempted murder, and robbery.

In a video, a man can be seen firing during a function in Bharohia village, part of the PPganj police station area of Gorakhpur. The person firing is history teacher Om Prakash Tiwari alias Babhannar Tiwari. The video is from a month ago.

A complaint was made to the police after the video surfaced. The PPganj police registered a case against the accused and started searching for him. The head of the village also complained to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Om Babhannar Tiwari came out of jail on bail a few days ago. He is a resident of Nayansar village, under the PPganj police station. He has 26 cases registered against him under various serious sections, including murder and attempted murder, and he has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case. He shot and killed one of his companions when his wife lost the election, and he gave 5.5 lakh rupees to Puneet to make his wife contest the election for the second time.
