VIDEO | Man Performs Risky Stunt On Moving SUV In Hapur; Viral Act Lands Him In Jail, Fined Rs 30,500

In the clip, the man is seen driving the SUV with both front doors open. He then exits through the passenger seat, leaving the steering wheel unattended. While the car keeps moving, he climbs onto the bonnet and stands there.

A video featuring a man performing a dangerous stunt on a moving Scorpio car in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district is doing the rounds on the internet. The clip was reportedly shot on a highway that falls under the Baghpat (Babu Garh) police station area. Police took prompt action against the driver and arrested him after the incident went viral.

In the clip, the man is seen driving the SUV with both front doors open. He then exits through the passenger seat, leaving the steering wheel unattended. While the car keeps moving, he climbs onto the bonnet and stands there. The video is believed to have been filmed by another car driving beside the Scorpio.

The driver was fined Rs 28,500 under the Motor Vehicles Act for performing the risky stunt. In a post on X, the Hapur Police confirmed that the man has been booked, and his car seized. A challan amounting to Rs 30,500 has been issued against him.

The Police statement read, “In Hapur district, a video of a person leaving the steering and climbing on the bonnet of a moving Scorpio car and making stunts and reels went viral on social media. Hapur Police took immediate cognizance of this, and the driver of the Scorpio car, along with the car, was taken into custody, and action was taken under the MV Act. A challan of Rs. 30,500/- was issued, and the car was seized. Further legal action is being taken.”
