Please do share that picture also and do take some time to appreciate the people who worked on your complaint & came up with answers, food & apology. #IRCTC.”
And I really appreciate it and also I’m happy that Indian railways took up the matter seriously and came up with some solutions.
But do you think the solution is apt.?
To some extent yes!
But unfortunately the vendor was just fined 25k .
Do you think that is justified.— pundook🔫🔫 (@subodhpahalajan) July 28, 2023

While sharing his experience a user wrote, “I always travel with Shatabdi just to get relax of buying from here and there and so I can eat peacefully but after seeing this I am sure that I am going to select NO FOOD always. Why should anyone pay 394 rupees which is huge for this kind of food?” Another user wrote, “Cleanliness, hygienic food and punctuality difficult to expect, Vande Bharat or normal train best is to take food from home or get it from trustworthy places. There are no quality checks and irrespective of what IR ppl say, they will take some special fine and continue the same.”
