As reported by the New York Post, Abby spent four days behind bars after being arrested for shoplifting under the influence of alcohol in November of last year. Upon her release, she was surprised to discover that her photo had been posted on a popular Instagram account known for featuring attractive individuals who have run afoul of the law.

The viral image prompted a surge in online searches for Abby, rapidly increasing her social media followers. This unexpected attention translated into financial gain for Abby, as she found herself earning money simply from the growth in her online following. She remarked on the phenomenon, noting that the influx of followers was so swift that she was earning money even without actively posting content.

She says, “Life has its funny twists. In America, if you happen to be good-looking and find yourself on the wrong side of the law, there’s money to be made.” Recalling her tumultuous childhood marked by instances of sexual abuse struggles with drug addiction, and battles with mental illness, she shares her journey. ‘Despite the hardships, she’s turned her life around, earning around five thousand dollars (approximately Rs 4 lakh) each month. This income supports her rent and allows her to provide for her son.

No stranger to trouble, she had a previous brush with the law in April 2023, spending six hours in jail following an altercation on a flight. Tragically, she experienced a miscarriage in September, which exacerbated her mental distress, leading to excessive drinking. It was during a drunken episode in November when she committed theft, resulting in her arrest. However, this turn of events proved to be a blessing in disguise, as she earned a staggering $92,328 (approximately Rs 76 lakh) in December alone. Now, she is venturing into the world of modeling, hoping to further capitalize on her newfound success.
