1924: Swaroopanand Saraswati was born

Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati is an Indian religious leader. In 1982, he became the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Sharada Peetham in Dwaraka, Gujarat and the Jyotir Math in Badrinath

1971: Actor Pawan Kalyan was born

Pawan Kalyan is an Indian actor, filmmaker, philanthropist, and politician. His films are predominantly in Telugu cinema. Kalyan is the younger brother of actor-politician Chiranjeevi, and made his debut in the 1996 film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. He starred in Tholi Prema in 1998, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu that year.

Ishant Sharma is an Indian cricketer who has represented India in Tests, ODIs and T20Is. He is a 6 ft 5 in tall right-arm fast-medium bowler. At the age of 18, Sharma was called to join the Indian squad for the tour of South Africa in 2006–07.
