New Delhi: Mahua Moitra, a Trinamool Congress leader, shared a video of her mother playing “Que Sera, Sera” on a piano. The video is going viral on social media.
The video was captioned, “Woke up to this video of my uber-talented mother playing this old favorite. Happy Sunday everyone.”

Her Mom’s piano cover of the Oscar-winning song seemed to epitomize the musicality of a Bengali family for many, with several comments even making the connection to Moitra’s firebrand politics — thanks to the 1956 song’s revolutionary connotations.
Moitra recently made headlines when she obtained BJP MP Nishikant Dubey’s academic records and, citing an RTI response, revealed that the Delhi University denied enrolling any such candidate in its MBA programme — contrary to the claims made by the Lok Sabha member in his affidavit.

A user wrote, “Wonderful music. She looks so sober & gorgeous. How come ur heart is so full of hatred? A daughter of such a beautiful mother shouldn’t be so angry.” Another user commented, “Oh Mahua! Your Ma is beautiful in every way. No wonder you are the complete woman you are!”
