Company Offers ‘Tinder Leave’: In Thailand, the Whiteline Group marketing agency has launched a paid “Tinder Leave” program to improve employee well-being. From July until the end of the year, employees can take paid leave to explore romantic connections on the dating app. Although the company hasn’t stated the number of leave days available, it is covering the costs for Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum subscriptions for its staff.
Whiteline Group announced on LinkedIn that employees can use Tinder leave for dating. They believe that love and happiness lead to better productivity. This decision was made after the management heard an employee complaining about her busy schedule, which left her no time to date.

Rules To Take ‘Tinder Leave’
Employees who want to take Tinder leave need to give a week’s notice and will receive six months of paid dating app subscriptions. These premium subscriptions include features like seeing who liked them, matching with users worldwide, and sending Super Likes. This offer is available only to employees who have completed their probation period and join the company between July 9 and December 31, 2024.
Whiteline Group, located in Bangkok and employing about 200 people, introduced this initiative to improve its staff’s work-life balance.
In contrast, Australian company Mineral Resources is adopting a different strategy. Managing Director Chris Ellison announced plans to add amenities at their Perth office to stop employees from leaving during work hours. “I want to keep them here all day,” Ellison said, noting that letting staff leave for coffee or errands leads to extra costs.
