According to reports, Wynter chews on potentially harmful things, so her mother needs to watch out for her to make sure she doesn’t swallow anything that isn’t meant for food.

Metro reports that Stacey A’Hearne, 25, has observed her daughter eating the side of her high chair, and sofa foam, and removing plaster off the walls. In addition to this, A’Hearne has witnessed Wynter smashing picture frames in the home and trying to consume glass fragments. Wynter has started chewing on her cot and blanket, which exacerbates the situation.

A young girl in the United Kingdom has been diagnosed with both autism and pica, an uncommon feeding problem. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) states that pica “occurs in children who start seeing the world through the oral cavity” and results in cravings for inedible substances.
She is consuming everything in the home. She tore chunks out of the brand-new sofa I bought. “My child will sit and eat a sponge, but she is quite picky about regular food. She attempted to bite the glass and broke about eight picture frames. She always manages to eat foods that aren’t right for her. Although Wynter was developing normally, she had a penchant for putting items in her mouth. A’Hearne didn’t think it was a big deal at first. Nevertheless, Wynter stopped speaking and began putting items in her mouth a lot when she was about 13 months old, according to WalesOnline.
The medical professionals she brought Wynter to saw informed her about her eating disorder, pica. Wynter was also diagnosed with autism in January 2024.
