Today, we will tell you about a place that has a population of 52 residents and 20 buildings. The town has only a single road. The place is very popular among tourists and it is located in the Istria region of the Western Croatia. We are talking about Croatia’s town-Hum. 

The city is famous for its history, low-density population and marvellous architecture. If we take a look at the population size of the country based on the 2011 census, the city had only 30 residents. The fresh available census of 2021 revealed that it has only 52 residents. It is the reason that this thinly-populated town is a preferred destination among tourists. 

Hum has narrow lanes with a single gateway amid a picturesque backdrop. The city has only 20 buildings which is also a key feature of the destination. Undoubtedly, peace lovers find it a serene one. 

The city’s economy is based on agriculture and tourism and the city has been mentioned as the world’s smallest town in the Guinness World Record. Hum is also popular for its traditional liquor, ‘Biska’ and other high-quality wines.
