Hannah Ingram-Moore has made £63,750 in salary after taking on the role of acting CEO of the Captain Tom Foundation, named after her late father.

She also received £7,602 for “travel and general administration expenses”. Accounts show that £24,206 was given to Maytrix Group Ltd – a company controlled by Ms Ingram-Moore and her husband Colin – including £21,750 in office rent plus £2,456 phone charges.

The Charity Commission last year opened an investigation into “concerns” about the charity’s links to Ms Ingram-Moore and her husband’s private businesses.

Today, accounts show donations have more than halved after administrators shut down donation channels during an investigation.

Shocking Account Reaveal

The accounts – over the 18-month period from 1 June 2021 to 30 November 2022 – reveal the charity has raised £402,854, up from £1,058,676 raised in the previous year.

Despite the large amount of donations, the association only distributed a donation of £210,000. This figure far exceeds the £465,000 spent on ‘support costs’ including salaries, management fees, office and IT costs.

The documents reveal that the Captain Tom Foundation also paid nearly £48,785 in legal fees.
