It is usual for everyone to take transport to reach their destinations by using any vehicle. But what if someone takes a daily flight to reach the office and returns the same day? Yes, an Indian-origin woman who is also a mother of two takes a daily flight, which is located in another state of Malaysia five days a week.
We are going to discuss Racheal Kaur, who is employed with Air Asia. She works as an Assistant Manager in the finance operation department. She said that the air route saves her time, and she can spend quality time with her kids.
According to CNA Insider, Kaur said she feels that she should be around her kids at the time when they are growing. It is the reason that she chooses the air route to reach the office, so she can stay at home with the family.
She leaves her home early in the morning at 5 am to catch the flight, which departs at 5:55 am. She reaches her office at 7:45 am and returns home at 8 pm in the evening.
Kaur also explored the option of taking an apartment on rent near the office, but she discovered that food and other expenses are cheaper in comparison to living on rent near her office. She had previously taken a home on rent in Kuala Lumpur. Now, she is happy to save her time and money.
She says her monthly expense is $316 (approximately Rs 28000). In her interview, she said that the working-from-home option is not viable for her as she wants her co-workers who help her with daily assigned tasks in a more efficient manner.
