While attending a live performance by Taylor Swift in Australia, a pregnant woman went into labour. According to an article in the New York Post, the 31-year-old gave birth a few days after dancing through the ache. Jenn Gutierrez, who was 38 weeks along, took a 412-kilometer flight from Canberra, Australia, to Melbourne with determination to see her idol perform, despite her due date being only two weeks away. She was accompanied by her twin sister and husband, Michael Sin, to the Eras Tour.
Despite experiencing contractions during the ‘Reputation’ set, Ms Gutierrez persisted throughout the performance, dancing and singing even as she went through contractions. The contractions ended when she returned to the hotel, and she was able to catch a flight home the following morning.
She gave birth to a baby girl a few days later in February 2024; she is currently two months old.
‘They got going during the set for Reputation. I told myself, ‘I’m not leaving. This baby is coming out right now if it arrives. The contractions grew more intense. I thought, ‘OMG, I’m going to deliver this kid right now,’ during the Midnights concert,’ Ms. Gutierrez remarked.

The two sisters, huge admirers of the performer, were ecstatic to buy VIP tickets last year for 600 Australian dollars, or around Rs 33,000. “When we started doing the math, we didn’t anticipate I would be that pregnant. We realized then that we were going to be close,’ the woman remarked.
She was permitted to travel six days before Ms. Swift’s performance, but she was apprehensive about the eight-hour drive. Ms Gutierrez went on, ‘We were determined to go. We were not going to miss the show in any way.’
Ms Gutierrez claimed that an hour into the trio’s preparation for the concert, she began to have contractions. As she put it: ‘I was astonished. It surprised me a little. Beside me, keeping an eye on me, was my twin sister. Using my Apple watch, my spouse was monitoring my heart rate. I hope my constant sitting didn’t give the females behind me the impression that I’m not a true Swiftie. It was an exhilarating experience.
By the end of the performance, she found it difficult to walk or stand correctly. ‘She was so low, I could feel the baby on its way out,” she said. She likened the sensation to having a bowling ball between her legs while standing for three hours. With a waddle, she left the stadium.’ When Ms. Gutierrez arrived at the hotel, she managed to stop the contractions, and the next morning, she took a plane back home.
She gave birth to a ‘happy’ and ‘healthy’ baby girl, weighing about 3.3 kilograms, a few days later. ‘Taylor Swift’s Fearless was the first song she heard. The new mother remarked, ‘She is an embedded Swiftie.’
