On the big achievement, T-Series Chairman Bhushan Kumar said, “People turn to and recite the Hanuman Chalisa during their low phase. With the Covid-19 pandemic, we are all in the midst of a challenging situation, and the Hanuman Chalisa helps us to deal with pain and hardship and gives us the courage and strength to face problems.”

When the video reached 2 billion views on YouTube in 2021, Bhushan Kumar celebrated by hosting a langar, or feast. The T-Series CEO, his mother, and daughters Tulsi and Khushali Kumar, along with Hariharan and composer Lalit Sen, attended the celebration. He performed Aarti at the temple in memory of his father.

T-Series Youtube channel currently has more than 238 million subscribers. According to consumer data and market insights companies, the channel is the most followed one on YouTube.
