A woman in Syria was subjected to a brutal assault by a group of seven Muslim men, who kicked her, struck her with a stick, and pulled her hair. The harrowing incident, which occurred in February, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

The video shows the woman being dragged by a man who pulled her hair and hit her repeatedly with a stick. Despite her attempts to resist, the man continued his violent attack. Others, including a minor boy, also joined in the assault, kicking the woman as she screamed in pain.

Local news outlets reported that the attack took place in the Syrian Raqqa Governorate and was described as an “honor” assault. The woman, believed to be in her twenties, was allegedly attacked by her family members who chased her to a roadside and left her injured. It’s unclear if she survived the assault, which has been classified as an “honor killing” incident.
