Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya marriage: Karan Deol, the son of Sunny Deol, is going to be married to his lifelong girlfriend Drisha Acharya. According to reports, the wedding will happen between June 16 and 18. A few months ago, the actor, who will next be seen in Apne 2, got engaged in a low-key ceremony. The occasion was the anniversary of his grandparents, actors Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur.

According to a media outlet, “Karan and Drisha’s wedding ceremony will happen between June 16 to 18 in Mumbai. The two have been in a committed relationship for over six years. Earlier this year, after celebrating Valentine’s Day in Dubai, the couple got engaged on February 18. Karan, Drisha and their families are private about their lives and prefer to keep it that way.”

The grandson of legendary actor Dharmendra and son of Sunny Deol is Karan Deol. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, released in 2019, marked his Bollywood debut. Sunny Deol wrote and directed it, and Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd and Zed Studios made it. He will next be featured in Apne 2, which also stars members of his family, including his uncle Bobby Deol and grandfather Dharmendra.
According to rumours, Drisha Acharya is the granddaughter of Rinki Bhattacharya, the wife of the late director Basu Bhattacharya and the daughter of Bimal Roy. Her mother, Chimoo B. Acharya, a former advertising executive and promoter of one of the Middle East’s event management firms, relocated to Dubai in 1998. Reportedly, Drisha works as a manager at a travel agency.
A source close to the couple told a media outlet, “It’s a classic case of childhood romance.” Further the source added, “Yes, an engagement did take place. Drisha is in Mumbai and the couple will soon make their official announcement. The idea is to do a public appearance.”
