A snake was found in one of the air-conditioned coaches of the Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath Express Train. The video circulating across social media on Sunday, showed the snake coiling around the handle of the upper berth in coach G3, causing a sense of alarm among passengers.

After spotting the snake, the passengers informed the railway officials immediately. The staff of the train took swift action, ensuring the safety of the passengers. The passengers were immediately shifted to another coach. The train was later sent back to Jabalpur after detaching the affected coach.

According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Central Railway, Harshit Srivastava, the incident has been registered. He stated that the passengers’ safety is paramount for the railway authorities.
