A disturbing road-rage incident involving a Mahindra Thar in Jammu, Kashmir, went viral after being captured on video. The footage shows the Thar, driven in the wrong lane, striking an elderly man. Instead of assisting, the driver reversed and hit him again. Speculation has arisen about possible personal motives behind the incident, though no confirmation has been provided.
The video further showed that there were people standing around watching the incident but no one helped the elderly man. They just stood far away and watched and didn’t do anything. This triggered a backlash on social media.

“First, the Thar guy came from the wrong side, causing poor uncle to fall. Then, he recklessly reversed the car and hit him from behind that too for no reason! Such negligence = a straight ticket to jail should be issued,” a third user wrote “10 minutes bad bail, 30 minutes bad uncle ko case wapas lene ki dhamki/ settlement. 1hr bad new thar ki tik tok,1hr 30 bad new thar at 120kmph,” added a fourth user. “The Thar and road rage are becoming synonyms for each other,” a fifth user wrote. “He did it with the clear intention of hurting that person. Look how he reversed it, he is almost going under the wheel, horrible,” added the sixth user.
“These cowards think they are very brave, assaulting an elderly man. Strict actions must be taken,” added another user. “These Thar Fanbois feel they are above God? Why do you give irresponsible criminals such vehicles?” another user wrote.
