A tragic incident occurred in Dausa, Rajasthan, on Saturday when a 10th-grade student, Yatendra Upadhyay, died of heart failure at school. The 16-year-old had celebrated his birthday just a day earlier, on July 5th. His family mentioned that he was undergoing treatment for a heart condition.
The incident took place at a private school in the Bandikui area around 7 AM. While crossing the school corridor to enter his class, Yatendra suddenly stumbled and fell, unable to get up.
CCTV footage captured the moment Yatendra fell. A nearby school staff member quickly rushed to assist him, but there was no response. The school administration promptly took him to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

Dr. Pawan Jarwal, who was on duty at the hospital, stated, ‘The school staff brought the boy to the hospital. When he arrived, his heart was not beating. We performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), but it was of no use.’
The family revealed that Yatendra had experienced heart-related issues three years prior and had been admitted to JK Lon Hospital, Rajasthan for 15 days. They declined an autopsy. After informing the police, the student’s body was handed over to the family.
Bandikui Police Station SHO Prem Chand reported that doctors suspected Yatendra suffered a heart attack. However, the family did not consent to an autopsy. He mentioned that the private school administration took Yatendra to Bandikui sub-district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The family informed the police that they would conduct his last rites in their ancestral village in Alwar.
