Railways DRM Asks Women Passengers Who Told You To Travel Without A Ticket; One Responds: ‘Narendra Modi’

Devotees continued to arrive at Mahakumbh 2025 to take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on the 36th day of the festival on Monday. Over 52 crore devotees have taken a holy dip so far at the world's largest human gathering.

As large crowds throng Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh, countless passengers are travelling to the city for a holy dip without taking a valid passenger ticket to travel by train. A video of the DRM Danapur division’s conversation with women passengers about their tickets went viral on social media. The viral video is from Bihar’s Buxar.

In the video clip, DRM Danapur Jayant Chaudhary questioned the passengers about travelling to Prayagraj without tickets. He asked: who told you to travel without a ticket? A woman passenger responds: Narendra Modi. The DRM said the prime minister did not say such a thing. 

The officials present on the spot had a grin while other passengers also started laughing.

A massive influx of devotees was seen at the Prayagraj Railway station on Monday. Police officials were constantly vigilant to manage the overwhelming crowd.
