They won the first prize of the monsoon bumper lottery i.e. Rs 10 crore. They together collect Rs 250. Total 9 women gave Rs 25-25 and two women gave Rs 12.5-12.5.

The ticket was sold by an agency in Palakkad on Wednesday. The women of the first group felt that they would lose Rs 250. Because a person called and said the ticket had won the prize money.
Most of the 11 women who won Rs 10 crore said they would use the money to build a house, educate their children and pay off their debts. Baby and Kuttimalu put in Rs 12.5 as their share, as they did not have Rs 25 with them. The women say that all of them were victims of poverty.
The women have given the winning ticket to the Parpanangadi branch of the Punjab National Bank.
