In the United States, a man had a shocking and disgusting experience when he received a cup of urine instead of the milkshake he had ordered through Grubhub, a food delivery app. Caleb Woods, hailing from Utah, had ordered fries and a milkshake from Chick-fil-A using the app. To his horror, he realized he had consumed urine when he took a sip of the milkshake with a straw.
He promptly contacted the Grubhub driver and confronted him about the situation. The driver admitted to the mix-up, explaining that he had confused two Styrofoam cups in his vehicle. He also mentioned that due to his long working hours without bathroom breaks, he sometimes used disposable cups to relieve himself in his car.
Woods requested a refund from Grubhub, which took four days to respond, but he was only refunded the cost of the food, not the delivery fee or the tip he had given.

Grubhub later issued a statement, expressing their strong disapproval of such behavior and stating that they had terminated the contract with the delivery worker. They also apologized to the customer and provided additional training for their customer service representative.
In a similar incident from the previous week, a woman in the US had filed a lawsuit against Ritz-Carlton after she claimed to have been served a water bottle containing semen by a male hotel employee during her stay at the hotel. The incident occurred during her birthday celebration with her husband at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. She alleged that she was “sexually assaulted and exploited” during her stay.
