New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi shared the video of a Panjabi singer who sang the song ‘Kesariya’ in five different languages.
He is a Mumbai-based singer named Snehdeep Singh Kalsi who sang the song ‘Kiseriya’ of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s movie Brahmastra in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu.

After PM Modi, the industrialist Anand Mahindra also shared the video on his Twitter account with the caption, “Just beautiful. This is what an UNBREAKABLE, united India sounds like…”
After seeing his performance PM Modi said “great manifestation” of the centre’s campaign ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
According to the campaign’s official website, the programme aims to improve interaction and mutual understanding among states and UTs through sustained and structured cultural connections in language learning, culture, music, tourism, cuisine, sports, and so on.
Snehdeep recorded and uploaded this song last year in July 2022, dedicating it to his friends and ex-colleagues from Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad who had requested a regional cover of the song.
Snehdeep wrote in his post while sharing the video, “For now, I have tried my best to attempt this. Hope you all love it. Let me know how you feel about it.”
