Ahead of the much-awaited India vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup match, a Pakistani cricket fan, who gained internet fame during the Asia Cup 2023, has reappeared. She went viral after declaring her love for Virat Kohli over her own team’s skipper, Babar Azam. She had gone to the Asia Cup expressly to watch a Kohli century, but the rain forced the match to be called off.

This time, a photo captured her exuberant show of support, as she wore a pendant with the picture of Mr. Kohli and his recognizable number 18 jersey. The photo soon went viral online and sparked a variety of opinions.

A user praised her devoted husband, calling her  ‘wife material,’  and another noted Mr. Kohli’s international stature, saying, ‘He is a global icon.’ A third user joked, ‘Cameraman, focus karo!’

The Kohli fan, who goes by the handle ‘Love Khaani,’ is relatively active on social media, for those who are unaware. She has almost 2.2 million followers on Instagram alone, while her total following on TikTok and Instagram reaches 7.3 million.

Reports state that Fiza Khan is her true name, and she works as a content creator for an Abu Dhabi mall, perhaps advertising merchandise and exclusive deals. This goes beyond her fervent exhibition of cricket loyalty. With her success as a fashion model and blogger, as well as her growing impact on social media, this multifaceted person has gone beyond the world of a viral TikTok celebrity.

In all of her posts, she has consistently expressed her love and support for Virat Kohli. During the Asia Cup 2023, she was heard stating, ‘I support both Pakistan and India, both together.’ She indicated her dual support by pointing to her painted cheeks.

She is a Pakistani national, but when it comes to cricket, she is dedicated to Virat Kohli. She made a clear choice when asked to compare Kohli to Babar Azam, the captain of her home team. ‘He is my favourite player; I specifically came here to watch him play and witness a century from him,’ she said, expressing her passionate admiration for Kohli.

Her dismay was apparent when the weather forced the play to be called off. She was mockingly challenged by a different Pakistani fan, who implied that she was rooting for Kohli more than the rest of the Indian team. Never one to back down, she smiled back and cited the famous adage, ‘There’s nothing wrong with cherishing your neighbors’ talents.’
