New Delhi: Started as a joke on Twitter, a message has grabbed attention of Mumbai Police, putting a Zomato delivery guy in trouble. Reacting to a now-deleted tweet on X, the Mumbai Police asked to get in touch with the user in its typical sarcastic way.
Mumbai Police has responded to a viral tweet claiming that one of Zomato’s delivery boys offered to deliver weed to customers. Knowm for its witty and hilarious anti-drug messages, Mumbai Police wrote: “Ma’am, we really need what he has.” WE are happy to contact your roommate’s delivery partner again for their kindness! Please text us, we can also reach that location in 10 minutes.”
What Was The Incident?
Meanwhile, the police also urged the netizens to avoid indulging in the drug activities. It all happened when User X’s roommate ordered food from Subway around 2 p.m.: It’s 30:00 in the morning and I receive an unusual text from the delivery person. He asked the customer if she needed anything else besides the order.
Sharing the picture, Sakshi Jain wrote: “So my roommate ordered from @zomato last night, and this is what the delivery boy texted her. She attached a screenshot of the message that read: “I’m on my way to deliver your order.” Kuch chahiye aap ko. Secret ganja (herb), etc.
Screenshots of the chat went viral on social media, prompting amused users to crack jokes and create memes on it. Some have also raised legitimate concerns.
