Noida: A man who was reportedly drunk caused a stir in Noida’s Sector 76 on Sunday afternoon when he climbed an electric tower, prompting a large-scale rescue operation. The incident occurred around 1:30 pm, drawing a response from local police, fire service teams, and officials from the power department.

In the viral video, the man who appeared to be under the influence was seen at the top of an electric pole dancing and behaving erratically.
A huge crowd accumulated around the area; some were busy filming the dramatic scene while others attempted to convince him to come down. But initially, he did not agree to do so.
After two hours of the spectacle, police and fire department personnel successfully brought him down from the tower.
Authorities are investigating the incident, with police suggesting that the man may have been mentally unstable. However, it remains unclear whether he was intoxicated at the time.

“We assured him that his problems would be addressed and encouraged him to come down. He has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. We will conduct further investigation,” a police official said.
The incident concluded without any injuries, but it left the gathered crowd in shock and disbelief at the unusual scene.
