In a widely shared social media update, Mr. Chhibber expressed his disbelief that despite job changes, trading, or investments, buying a home in this market seemed unattainable. Providing a virtual tour of Noida’s Sector 124, he revealed that a 4BHK apartment in an upcoming project is priced at Rs. 15 crore, while a 6BHK costs Rs. 25 crore.

He wondered aloud in Hindi who could afford these apartments and what kind of jobs they must have. He questioned whether, no matter how many jobs he switched, how much he traded or invested, he would ever be able to afford a 4BHK there.

The video quickly gained traction online, eliciting various reactions. One user commented, “Brother, it’s understandable if you’re upset, but now you’ve made us upset too.” Another remarked on inflated prices and the pressure on buyers due to FOMO, suggesting that if the youth stopped buying houses for just a year, prices would likely drop by half in a few months.

Another user proposed that instead of buying expensive flats, one could purchase land for 2 crores and build a bungalow for 3 crores, living like royalty. They pointed out that many people buy such flats purely as investments without living in them, while other flats are rented out.
