Viral Video: In a shocking incident that reportedly took place in Mumbai, a volunteer at Lalbaug allegedly kicked a female devotee during Ganesh visarjan. In the viral clip, a massive crowd was gathered in Lalbaug when a volunteer dressed in a red kurta suddenly tried to get on the stage. But as everybody was waiting in line for Ganpati darshan, the man kicked a woman devotee.
According to reports, the incident occurred on September 6, 2025, while the visarjan rituals were ongoing across Maharashtra. The viral video, posted on an Instagram page named @unseen__mumbai, has gained over 1.9 million views as of now. It captures the exact moment when the male volunteer committed the act of misconduct.

Shortly after, he was also seen being pulled down in rage by the furious devotees. The footage, since going viral, has sparked strong reactions from social media users, who condemned the act. It is, however, unclear which mandal the male volunteer was from. News24 couldn’t verify the location, timing, an authenticity of the viral video.
A user said, “Only because they are given full right to do this.” Another said, “Why do so many people want to visit here? Even after seeing these kinds of incidents.” A third user wrote, “NCWIndia, you should have taken cognizance of this behaviour. Religious beliefs couldn’t triumph over human dignity and rights.” Meanwhile, a fourth user commented, “This person should be charged.”
