A social media post highlighted the courageous act of two Mumbai police officers who risked their lives by jumping into the sea during high tide to rescue a drowning woman. Their heroic actions have garnered widespread applause and admiration.
Mumbai Police released a video depicting the officers rescuing the woman and ensuring her safety. Additional police personnel are observed providing care to her before assisting her into a vehicle for transportation to the hospital.
Mumbai Police reported, ‘In a swift response to a drowning incident near Sundar Mahal Junction, Marine Drive, on-duty officers PC Kiran Thackeray & PC Anmol Dahifale courageously jumped into the sea during high tide to rescue a woman.’
They further confirmed, ‘We transported her to the hospital using Marine Drive 1 Mobile van for further treatment. Doctors have confirmed her condition as stable, and we have informed her relatives.’
