New Delhi: Martin Schwenk, the Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India got stuck in traffic recently in Pune. He booked an autorickshaw to cover his remaining distance to his destination. He also had to walk over a kilometer on foot, before he actually found an auto to be booked.
The situation turned so tricky that Martin has to leave his Mercedes S-Class and hire an auto-rikshaw to cover the remaining distance for his destination.
Martin Schwenk made posted a photo on Instagram while travelling in the auto. He also wrote a caption describing his situation. He wrote, "If your S-class is stuck in traffic on the wonderful Pune roads - what do you do? Maybe getting off the car, start walking for a few KM’s and then grabbing a rickshaw?"
Since 2018, Schwenk has served as CEO of Mercedes-Benz India. Prior to that, he worked for Mercedes-Benz China as its Chief Financial Officer. He has been connected to the company since 2006.
