Meerut Viral video: ‘UP’s James Bond’ – Thief Flees With Cash Garland, Groom Catches Him In Filmy-Style Chase

In an incident that seemed straight out of a Bollywood action scene, a groom, Dev Kumar, chased down a truck driver who had stolen a note from his wedding garland in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

A Bollywood scene that included a lift, a chase on a busy road, climbing on the top of a moving truck, entering inside the vehicle through the passenger window, and beating the truck driver on a highway—all recorded on Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut after a truck driver pinched out a note from Garland, made from currency.

The incident was not a scene of any Bollywood movie. According to reports, groom Dev Kumar happily returned home after the wedding. But when a pickup truck driver, who had come to his home for some work, pinched out a note from his garland.

Following this, Kumar and his family members chased the truck driver. Kumar got a lift from motorists and chased the truck driver on a busy road before managing to climb upon the truck that was moving at high speed on the highway.

A 57-second video of the incident was widely circulated on social media platforms. The video shows that Kumar, dressed up in a proper wedding dress, somehow managed to gain entry inside the truck from the passenger side window and stopped the vehicle.

Later, Kumar’s family members, who were recording the incident, reached there and beat the truck driver. Social media users commented, “Not sure whether the bride will be really impressed with his skills though.” And the other user commented ‘up’s james bond’. While another user wrote, somebody told the groom that the country is pinched by the government.
