Would you consider turning frozen dead animals into everyday items? Sounds weird, right! But not to Jack. Jack Devaney is a taxidermist who does this chilling business of transforming dead animals into frozen items.

He has left internet users horrified and shocked with his unusual creations, which he calls ‘therapeutic’. The social media users are currently buzzing after Devaney revealed in a recent video on Instagram about how he takes animals out of his freezer every morning to make different things out of it.

Devaney Clarifies Purpose Behind His Work

About the controversy surrounding his work, he noted that people asked him, “What was his purpose for doing this? Why did he do it?” Devaney explained that all animals are ‘ethically sourced,’ reassuring that he’s an animal lover. He stated that the animals he processes are all dead, emphasizing there’s nothing wrong with that.

Devaney Reveals His Inspiration

Devaney further mentioned that he drives his inspiration from people’s smiles since he loves to make them laugh. He expressed his love for the craft in the video, admitting that there’s no ‘deeper meaning’ behind his work. His creations include a duck water boarder, a rat Pencil Sharpener, a Rabbit Toaster, and a Rat Pencil Case.

Jack’s video has garnered several reactions from social media users. A user commented, “These creations look how I feel on the inside.”

Another wrote, “You’re a disturbing psychopath mate.”

He was criticised for his work by a user who remarked, “Don’t like it. They are dead but culturally I can’t deal with mocking from dead bodies.”
