Dipalie Bajaj, the founder and CEO of Arva Health, recently shared a job application that amused everyone on the internet. While hiring for a full-stack engineer, Ms. Bajaj encountered this job application. The anonymous applicant, when asked why he was qualified for the position, candidly admitted that he needed a job to marry the girl of his dreams. He explained that the girl’s father asked him to secure a job before they could get married.

When asked why he was fit for the role, the man responded that he believed his unique blend of full-stack skills aligned well with the position’s requirements. He also mentioned that without a job, he wouldn’t be able to marry his childhood love because her father insisted on him having a job first. Ms. Bajaj shared a screenshot of this response on X (formerly Twitter) and added a caption saying that hiring can be fun too.
