Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic turn of events in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district, a 27-year-old groom reportedly collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack. The unfortunate incident occurred Friday while he was sitting on a horse at his baraat. According to reports, the groom, identified as Pradeep Jat, was a resident of Soonswada village. He danced with other baraatis initially and later climbed upon the horse.
The footage, captured on cam, shows the groom fainting while he was seated on the mare. He was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility but it was too late. Doctors suspect he suffered a cardiac arrest after getting exhausted from dance. Pradeep was an ex-district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI). Wedding videos show Pradeep being welcomed as he arrives at the bride’s house with his baraat at night. Bride fainted after hearing about his death, reports added.

In a similar incident in Madhya Pradesh just a few days ago, a 23-year-old suddenly collapsed and passed away while dancing at her cousin sister’s wedding function in Vidisha. The woman, identified as Parinita Jain, who hails from MP’s Indore city died due to cardiac arrest, according to reports. The unfortunate incident reportedly occurred during the ‘Haldi’ function.
Around 200 guests were present at the venue while she danced to the popular Bollywood track ‘Lehra Ke Barkha Ke’. Immediately after she fell, family members who were present at the spot tried to revive her through CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). She was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. As per reports, Parinita was a MBA graduate who resided with her parents in South Tukoganj, Indore.
