Peculiar incidences showcasing that ‘love has no age’ have often found their way to light. A similar affair demonstrating the veracity of the adage has recently surfaced online and created quite a buzz on social media. A 26-year-old man, Gary Hardwick, treated his fans with a sneak peek of his exemplary love story. In his precedent-worthy post, he referred to his wife, Almeda, as ‘babydoll’ and marked her 80th birthday in the most adorable way possible.
Along with sharing her pictures, he articulated, “Happy birthday to the most amazing wife in the world. Today is not only your day but most importantly, today is about celebrating the birth of such a wonderful & true woman with such a heart of gold.” He further stated that he’s the luckiest husband as he gets to wake up beside her every day. “You make me the happiest man each and every day and I want to always make you the happiest woman,” he added.
The heartfelt note further read, “You deserve the world and until my last breath I’ll work hard to give you that.” While wishing Almeda to have the happiest birthday, he penned that all the best moments of his life are the ones that have been with her.

Speaking of, the duo got hitched two weeks after their meeting and Almeda’s son’s funeral, in the year 2015. At that time, Gary was 17 and Almeda was 71.
Ever since their wedding, the lovebirds have been sharing glimpses of their love on TikTok. However, their account was reported for inappropriate content. Gary revealed to followers that they had to pull down some of their content as it was reported as ‘sexually explicit content’ by some critics.
Despite the age gap, the couple says they are deeply in love and even though they’ve had their ups and downs together, they have come out of it stronger.
