Bengaluru: Ever imagined a leopard running for life? Dogs running after a leopard? No, this is not an animated movie. It happened for real on the streets of Bengaluru and netizens are going crazy.
CCTV footage found a leopard taking a stroll while being chased by street dogs in the Singasandra area of Bengaluru. Though a wild animal like a leopard roaming in the public sphere was a matter of huge concern for people, what drew their attention was an unbelievable chase by street dogs.
This video is doing rounds on the internet and netizens are nothing but perplexed.
This is from further down Haralur Road, where I live. And yes, that’s a leopard. Odd how the dogs seem to be friendly. pic.twitter.com/jiJ6MMNURD

Leopards on Bengaluru streets seem like becoming a new norm but a running leopard was way more hilarious not just for the residents of the Indian Silicon City but for everyone who watched the video clip.
The wild animal wasn’t seen the next day and thereafter but hasn’t been found by the forest department yet. It is believed that the leopard itself has moved to the forest area, however, forest officials are still looking for it.
“Our staff are trying to locate the leopard, which was reportedly spotted in the city. The place in the video appears to be Singasandra near Bannerghatta and not Whitefield”, SS Lingaraja, Chief Conservator of Forests, told PTI.
