A woman had arrived at the jail to meet the prisoner. The woman kissed the prisoner during the meeting. The prisoner died not long after this. Following the prisoner’s death, the woman was charged with murder and arrested.
America is the subject of the case. A man named Joshua Brown was serving a sentence in a Tennessee prison. Rachel Dollard had arrived to see him. When Rachel met Brown, she had a methamphetamine drug hidden in her mouth. They both kissed. During this time, Rachel transferred the drug from her mouth to Brown’s mouth. Brown then downed the entire dose at once.
The drug weighed approximately 14 grammes. Brown died as a result of a drug overdose. Rachel Dollard was arrested by Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) agents following the death of the man.
Rachel was arrested and taken to jail. The Tennessee Department of Corrections has her locked up in the Hickman County Jail. Joshun Browne was sentenced to 11 years in prison after being found guilty in a drug-related case. His sentence was set to expire in 2029.
Authorities claim Rachel gave Brown drugs earlier in February under the guise of a meeting. Rachel agreed to this during the interrogation. Following this incident, the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) issued a statement saying, “From now on, the law and order situation in our jail will be tightened even further.” So that such an accident does not happen again, there will be a thorough investigation into meeting the prisoners and bringing any extraneous items with them.
