Kangana Ranaut has always managed to be in the headlines even if not for her movies. She is undoubtedly one of the most fabulous actresses but never fails to stun her fans with her triggering statements. In her latest interaction with the media, she hinted at leaving the film industry permanently.
The queen of Bollywood is all set to try her luck in politics. She is the BJP candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections. When asked how she would manage film and politics together, Kangana said that she sometimes gets bored doing films too because she does acting and directing.
She added that if she sees possibilities in politics and finds that people are connecting with her, then she would continue with politics. She would want to focus on one job at a time. Explaining her desire, Kangana Ranaut said that if she wins the Mandi constituency then she would continue with politics only.
“Many filmmakers have asked me not to go into politics. I’ve led a privileged life, if given a chance to go to the people and connect with them, I’ll do it”, Kangana Ranaut.
Bashing the ‘nepo’ element again, she said that nepotism is everywhere and not limited to films or politics, and nobody is happy about it. And there’s no end to it.
Kangana Ranaut has hinted at quitting Bollywood but if we look back to how her couple of recent movies performed, looks like Bollywood had left her before she opted to leave. From Manikarnika in 2019 to Tejas in 2023, she has given back-to-back flop films for five years. She performed very well until she chose to do the double role of an actor and a director.

After seeing a silent boycott by Bollywood biggies, and her handful of movies rupturing at the box office, Kangana has a mere scope to be the rainbow in the cinema industry again. Her controversial statements are an addition to the corrosion that she has undergone in the Bollywood industry.
