This is the era of vlogging. People not only shoot videos on specific topics but also vlog about their daily lives, sharing moments from their routines and time with family. They earn a lot from this vlogging, but sometimes they forget to stay humane amidst it all. Recently in Japan, a similar incident occurred where a couple ignored their daughter’s pain to shoot a vlog.
The daughter cried while the couple continued filming. On their YouTube page, Rau-nano Family, the couple shared a video showing their 2-year-old daughter accidentally locked in a car parked in the scorching sun. Instead of quickly rescuing her, the couple kept filming for views.
In the video, the father is seen seating his three children in the back seat of the car one by one. He seats 2-year-old Nanoka first. However, while he goes to get the other two children, Nanoka, holding the car keys, accidentally locks herself inside.
Parents Kept Shooting The Vlog
Despite his child being locked in a car in the scorching heat, the father neither calls emergency services nor seeks help from anyone nearby. Instead, he films the crying child and shouts, “This is an emergency situation, Nanoka is locked in the car. The car is locked, and she cannot get out!”
The scared 2-year-old girl is seen crying and sweating inside the overheated car. Meanwhile, her father continues filming and giving her directions to unlock the door from inside. A child psychologist commented on the video, calling it stupidity, as a two-year-old cannot understand such instructions.
After about half an hour of filming, the father finally calls a locksmith to rescue the girl. When the couple shared the video, they were harshly criticized, with many people calling them selfish and bad parents. One user wrote, “What kind of father is this? Doesn’t he feel ashamed while his daughter is crying?”
