Billionaire and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk has once again set the internet buzz with, a humorous tweet that caught the attention of many. He jokingly identified himself as a “time-travelling, vampire alien,” prompting a mix of amusement, laughter and curiosity across multiple social media platforms.
The buzz began when Musk posted a meme on X (formerly Twitter) around 2:30 am ET which has since received over 7.6 million views. The meme humorously says: “Would you believe it? My neighbour was knocking on my door at 2:30 this morning. Luckily, I was still up, playing my bagpipes.” The joke lies in the irony that the neighbour’s complaint about being disturbed coincides with Musk admitting to playing the notoriously loud bagpipes at an odd hour.

The banter became more playful when a user with the username @soursillypickle replied ‘You don’t sleep because you’re a vampire?” They even posted a screenshot of Musk, in which the latter had previously written a joke about being a ‘3000-year-old vampire’. Musk graciously accepted the bait and responded, “I’m a time-travelling vampire!” The friendly bickering escalated when another user asked if he might have been an alien, to which Musk said he was a ‘time-travelling, vampire alien’.

Adding fuel to the chatter, a user named @DogeDesigner highlighted a curious detail in Musk’s X profile: it says he was verified as such from time immemorial “3000 BCE.” The user shared a screenshot in which, the caption says, “Elon Musk X Profile says the account has been verified since 3000 BCE.” Last night he said that he is a time-traveling, vampire alien.

Even though I’m 5000 years old, I think I look much younger. https://t.co/QNgQjaBAp9
In retort, Musk humorously remarked, “Even though I’m 5000 years old, I think I look much younger.” The comment section was flooded with many humorous replies, where one user quipped “Ahh That’s how the pyramids got built !! Rocket science” while another remarked “3000 BCE, huh? That’s when you invented the wheel, right? Guess @elonmusk was just looking for a good ride through time!”
Curiously enough, if one checks Musk’s profile, one can actually find the “3000 BCE” verification that refers to a time before the common era. This detail aligns with Musk’s tendency to cultivate an eccentric image. This latest prank also highlights Musk’s ability to inject humour into discussions, keeping his fans entertained and journalists engaged.
