New Delhi: iQOO has finally announced the launch date of its next flagship phone. The iQOO 11 5G will arrive on December 2. The brand will launch the phone in Malaysia for a foray next month.
That means the iQOO 11 5G won’t be coming to China, and it won’t be the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone either, as that title went to the Vivo X90 Pro+, which launched in China on Tuesday. But iQOO’s next phone could also be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone outside of China.

Vivo sub-brand iQOO has announced that it is hosting the iQOO 11 5G Experience Day on December 2nd between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM local time (3:30 PM to 7:30 PM IST) in Malaysia. iQOO hasn’t shared any specifications of the upcoming iQOO 11 5G, but there have been rumors that it will be a premium phone with high-end specs.
iQOO 11 5G Specifications
The iQOO 11 5G may come with a 6.78-inch display with 1440p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The phone can be backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Of course, the IQOO 11 5G would use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, but it may be accompanied by a proprietary V2 V2 chip that will enable better image processing in the phone. The V2 chipset debuted on the Vivo X90 series in China on Tuesday.
iQOO also confirmed some of the phone’s features without revealing specifics. It shared several posters that suggested that the iQOO 11 5G will come with “monstrous performance with a powerful processor”, “monstrous performance with the fastest refresh rate” and “monstrous performance with great battery life”.

While the December 2 launch will mark the iQOO’s debut in Malaysia, the brand hasn’t said anything about if and when it plans to bring the phone to India. According to a report, iQOO will launch the iQOO 11 Pro in India sometime in January, but the phone has not been confirmed or launched anywhere yet.
