New Delhi: A Zomato delivery agent waded through knee-deep water to deliver food in a flooded area of Ahmedabad. The video of his effort, shared on social media, has earned him praise for his dedication, with users urging Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal to reward him. Zomato also praised him, calling him a “superhero.”
Zomato thanked everyone for recognizing their delivery partner’s amazing efforts, saying he went above and beyond like a superhero in extreme weather.

Gujarat is experiencing severe rain and flooding, leading to 32 deaths and the evacuation of over 32,000 people in just four days.
Various districts are affected, with Navsari receiving the most rainfall at 356 mm, followed by Dangs, Vadodara, and Anand. The southern districts, including Valsad, Tapi, Navsari, Surat, Narmada, and Panchmahal, are particularly hit hard.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is closely monitoring the situation and has directed officials to take necessary actions to ensure public safety.
The heavy rainfall has led to major damage. At least 62 houses have been completely destroyed, 271 houses have been partially damaged, and 22 huts have also been affected.
Relief efforts are in progress, with the Indian Air Force sending supplies and MI-17 helicopters dropping essential items to residents stranded in Jamnagar and Vadodara.
