Have you ever typed a report using your nose? While some might have tried, an Indian man has set a new record for the fastest time to type the alphabet with his nose for the third time.
Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, 44, has reclaimed his title as the ‘fastest time to type the alphabet with the nose.’ He first achieved this in 2023 with a time of 27.80 seconds, later improving it to 26.73 seconds. This time, he broke his own record again with an impressive 25.66 seconds.
Guinness World Records shared a video of Chaudhary’s record-breaking moment on X (formerly Twitter), stating, ‘How quickly could you type the alphabet with your nose (with spaces)? India’s Vinod Kumar Chaudhary did it in 26.73 seconds.’

‘Vinod practised for hours to earn his world record and said typing with his nose would sometimes make him so dizzy he’d see stars,’ he said in a series of posts.
Chaudhary practiced extensively to achieve his record, admitting that typing with his nose often made him dizzy. To complete the record attempt, he had to type the Roman alphabet on a standard QWERTY keyboard, including spaces between each letter.
Known in the computer industry as the ‘Typing Man of India,’ Chaudhary holds multiple records, including the fastest time to type the alphabet backwards with one hand, the fastest time to type the alphabet with hands behind the back, and now the fastest time to type the alphabet with the nose.
Chaudhary explained, ‘Typing is my profession, so I thought of making a record in it, combining my passion and livelihood.’ He emphasized the importance of pursuing one’s passion despite obstacles. His secret to success includes daily meditation and maintaining a positive mindset.
Always on the lookout for new records to break, Chaudhary dreams of matching the record-breaking feats of former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who holds numerous titles, including the most player-of-the-match awards in international cricket (62) and most centuries in international cricket (100).
