Recently, the restaurant Maryada Ramanna, located in Hitec City, added iced apple Biryani and iced apple curry to its menu. A viral reel showcasing these dishes, shared by the Instagram handle ‘hyderabadbucketlist,’ captured widespread attention on the internet.
As the video quickly gained traction, online users voiced their disapproval of the unusual combination. One user remarked, “You should eat ice apple as it is, boiling it will remove its uniqueness, and it’s a waste to eat it after boiling (sic).” Another commented, “Just because something can be cooked, doesn’t mean it should be. Some things should remain untouched (sic).” A third user stated, “Ice apple is beneficial for health, not for biryani…nature has provided us with all the good foods we need. Cooking them is our mistake (sic).”
