The video quickly gained traction on social media, with many users praising Girish for his good deed. Explaining the incident, ‘Nagara Metered Auto’ wrote on X, “Girish arrived at Chitra’s house after searching for it to return the lost gold chain he found in his auto rickshaw. He had given a ride to Chitra on the fare meter that day. She had no idea as to where she had lost the chain on her trip back home from Mysore.”
The post further stated, “Girish’s honesty stands out as an example to emulate. At Nagara, we could have made Girish’s search for Chitra’s home easier. How? Street hailed Nagara Meter Auto trips take customer phone numbers for trip assurance. This helps Drivers to trace and resolve events like forgotten or lost items of customers. We will be making the street-hailing experience a breeze in the coming days.”
Meanwhile, many users have expressed their thoughts on the incident. One user wrote, “Because few good people like him are still in Karnataka. Let God give him everything he needs.”
Another user wrote, “Humanity still exists.” A third commented, “Let’s make Girish and his noble/ kind act viral as we need more of this kind of people.”
