A Delhi-based food outlet bill went viral on social media platforms on Monday after the bill mentioned the suicide of Bengaluru-based man Atul Subhash, who ended his life following years of fighting a dowry case filed by his wife.
The man recorded a 1.5-hour video and left a 24-page-long suicide note in which he revealed his personal life, including sexual relationship with his wife. The man could be heard saying that his wife was unhygienic.
Following the video, he ended his life and uploaded the alleged video on ‘Rumble’ and pasted the link in his X account. The dowry case of Atul and divorce cases filed by women against men become the hot, boiling issue in the nation.
A food outlet (Jumbo king) in the Hauz Khas area of Delhi mentioned that, “We deeply mourn the suicide by techie Atul Shubhash. His life was just as important as everyone else’s. RIP brother. We hope you finally found peace on the other side.” reads the message written on the Rs 89 bill.
