Delhi Housing Society: A housing society in New Delhi recently issued a notice regarding the number of orders a resident can receive per day. The RWA issued a notice stating that either the residents should limit their number of online delivery orders to one or two deliveries per day, or hire a personal security guard to handle the bombardment of parcels. The incident came to light when the guard informed the housing society’s president about how his work in being affected by receiving parcels in such a large number, especially during the festive season.
A resident’s relative took to X to share the picture of the notice board. He captioned it “These society presidents are insane, my brother’s society issued a notice on receiving too many parcels.

This Is What The Society Notice Read:
The notice read. “Our society watchman called a meeting with the RWA members last night because he has a complaint. He’s been working with us for 7 years and said that the large number of parcels coming in during the festival is disturbing his work.”
It pointed out that even though the security guard does his usual job, he also has to “take orders for residents and give OTPs to delivery people.” The security team has helped a lot before by handling orders, sharing OTPs, and coordinating with delivery services like Ajio and Swiggy, but this has recently been causing them a lot of problems.
The society president also mentioned that one block, F block, has a lot of delivery orders: “We’ve noticed that bachelors in F block receive 10-15 deliveries each day. We ask everyone to limit their orders to 1-2 per day, or hire a personal security guard to manage the deliveries.”
