‘He Had Pictures of My Legs’: Influencer Busts CRPF Jawan at Delhi Airport

Aayesha Khan, a social media influencer and actor, confronted a CRPF personnel at Delhi Airport's Terminal 1 who was secretly taking photos of her while pretending to be on a phone call.

Influencer Ayesha Khan shared a reel on Instagram about an inappropriate incident she experienced at Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1 on September 16th. She explained that a man, pretending to be on the phone, was secretly taking photos of her. Ayesha wrote that when she stopped and questioned the man, he denied it. But when she asked to check his phone, it contained photos of her specifically of her legs.

What was most shocking was that the man was a CRPF soldier, deployed to protect the public. Ayesha questioned that if women aren’t safe even at a heavily guarded airport, where else can they feel safe?

She also said that when those who are supposed to provide security break trust, it’s not just misbehavior but betrayal.

“I’m not going to sit quietly anymore. This can’t be tolerated. Accountability is necessary. Change is needed,” she wrote. Ayesha also recorded a video of the man deleting photos from his phone. After deleting the photos, he showed his gallery and explained:

“I deleted them. It was automatically clicked.”

To which Ayesha replied: “I was watching what you were doing. You’re my father’s age. Have some shame.”

Reactions on Social Media

The incident received mixed reactions on social media. Many people praised Ayesha’s courage:
“You did well by standing up for yourself,” “Now no one can be trusted, it’s very scary,” comments like these surfaced.

But some users blamed Ayesha for posting “bold” photos on Instagram:

“If you have such a problem, why don’t you make your account private?”

“Why didn’t you feel ashamed when you were posting bikini photos?”

However, some people disagreed with these criticisms and stressed that just because someone’s profile is public on social media doesn’t mean anyone can take their photos without permission.

“A CRPF soldier is doing this? And people are blaming the girl in the comments? This thinking is the most dangerous thing.”
