Here’s how people responded:

One person commented that Singh should consider the size of his house and the number of appliances, such as ACs, lights, washing machines, and dryers, and pointed out that higher electricity consumption leads to higher bills and noted that Singh didn’t specify the two-month period, implying he was ignoring relevant details. They advised minimizing electricity usage or accepting the cost without sensationalizing it on social media.

Another user questioned if he was overcharged or if he used air conditioners excessively, asking about the number of ACs in his house and their usage duration.

A third user recommended switching to solar if the bill is accurate and he owns his home. They mentioned their satisfaction with solar energy, stating that a one-time investment has kept them happy for years.

Another X user suggested getting solar panels. She mentioned that after installing solar panels three years ago, her electricity bills have been nearly zero, even in the city’s 40-45-degree heat.
